My son, Arlo, has Fragile X Syndrome. He has been visiting SSCY Centre Children’s Development Clinic for several years now. We have left all our visit feeling supported and informed. Most recently we’ve been approved for a bike adaptation. Adaptations are covered by Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation. The more money raised for these event, the more children and young adults (and ultimately their families) are provided with adaptive/assistive technology to continuing explore and enjoying life.
I’m raising money in support of Children's Rehabilitation Foundation by participating in Cruisin' To Change Lives.
Every dollar raised will provide specialized equipment and recreation programs for children and youth living with disabilities. Together we can ensure children receive everything from custom-built bikes and communication iPads, to the opportunity to attend summer camps and adaptive yoga classes.
