I have the privilege of working at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children as an Occupational Therapist in the Assistive Technology department. 

Over the years, CRF has funded a variety of pieces of equipment for so many of the children that I get to see in our department. Some of these pieces of equipment include a GoTo seat that enabled a child to sit at the table with all of his cousins at a family dinner, a Batec power add on to a manual wheelchair that empowered a teen to be able to go out with his friends independently, and a chill out chair for a family that has no other supportive comfy spot for their child to spend time lounging and socializing with their family and friends. 

These pieces of equipment would never have been provided to these families without the funds raised in events such as Crusin' to Change Lives.
