I'm a physiotherapist in the Assistive Technology Department at the Rehab Centre for Children. This year for Cruisin to Change Lives I'm one of the "Wheelchair Wizards".
One of the things we do in the assistive technology department is modify commercial bicycles for children with special needs. Such modifications can be cost prohibitive for many families, so Children's Rehabilitation Foundation covers the cost of these modifications.
If a child needs a commercial adaptive cycle and does not have an alternative funding source, we can apply to the CRF for funding. Cruisin to Change Lives strives to raise money to that the CRF can continue to fund this great work.
On Sunday, June 9th, 2024, the "Wheelchair Wizards", will be cruisin at CMU with many of our clients and their families to raise awareness and money for the program
The Wheelchair Wizards love magic and dream of every child experiencing the magic of riding a bicycle.
Please consider donating to this amazing cause
Sincerely,
Ambrose
